Community Guidelines

Everyone who asks a question, writes an answer or shares a route on narnar accepts these rules. That is exactly what the checkbox you tick when you post means. The aim is one thing: that a student's question has a useful, accurate and readable answer underneath it.
Asking a question
- Ask one question. Five topics packed into one title usually means none of them gets answered.
- Be specific. Which country, which university, which date, which document — with those in the text, the right answer arrives far faster.
- Say what you have already tried. Which page you read, who you asked, where you got stuck.
- Write the title as a question. The next person searching for the same thing types the same sentence.
- Do not repost the same question. If no answer came, edit the question to make it clearer instead of opening a new one.
Writing an answer
- Write what you know. If you are not sure, say so; do not present a guess as a fact.
- Cite the source. For fees, deadlines and rules, name the source: the consulate page, the university's international office, the immigration authority's notice.
- Your own experience is the valuable part. What you did, how long it took, what it cost, what went wrong.
- Do not paste copied content. Text taken from another site is removed unless it is a short, attributed quote.
- Do not paste AI-generated text you have not verified. A wrong answer does more damage than no answer.
What must not be posted
- Insults, harassment, threats, hate speech; content targeting a person or a group.
- Advertising, promotion, referral links and spam. Naming a service that is genuinely part of the answer is fine; stacking links is not.
- Personal data: phone numbers, addresses, passport and ID numbers, email addresses, images of someone else's documents. Including your own.
- Illegal content; anything requesting or explaining forged documents, fake bank statements or ways to mislead a visa process.
- Sexual content.
- The same text pasted under multiple questions.
What the checkbox means
The box you tick when posting a question or an answer is your declaration that the content does not breach the rules on this page and carries no insults, advertising or copied text. The time of that acceptance is stored with the post.
Moderation
- Content that breaks these rules can be removed without prior warning.
- You can remove your own question or answer at any time.
- Repeated breaches lead to account suspension.
- To appeal a removal or report content: [email protected]
Responsibility
Questions and answers belong to the users who wrote them. They are not narnar's opinion and narnar does not guarantee their accuracy. Before acting on anything involving visas, residence permits, money or health, confirm it against the relevant authority's current page.
