Erasmus preparation guides
What to arrange before you move, in order, with real costs. Every guide ends in that country’s chat room.
Preparation guides put the tasks that follow a decision to go in order. The order matters: you cannot attend a visa appointment before the blocked account exists, you cannot open the account before the acceptance letter arrives, and a late housing application means no room at the start of term.
Every guide follows the same structure: what has to be paid before departure and how much, the steps in sequence, the residence and registration formalities after arrival, and the questions that come up most. The last checked date sits at the top of each page — that is when the amounts and steps were last compared against an official source. Source links are listed at the end.
For topic-by-topic articles on the process, see the guides section; for how we work, see the about page.
